How did you join Deloitte?

I was referred to this exciting role by a former colleague whom I last worked with way back in 2012!

What are you responsible for in your role?

I’m a Manager in our Professional Standards Review Centre of Excellence, performing an independent risk-focused review on the financial statements. This includes constructively challenging teams to ensure that risk areas are appropriately addressed. We also have to make sure the results of testing and judgments are appropriately documented on file.

How are you supported to work flexibly?

I work from home once a week. Formally, this is on Fridays. However, I’m always able to switch to a different day, or add a second day, if needed.

What was your most memorable moment on the job so far?

Rather than focusing on one moment, I’d like to focus more on what makes every day great being on this job. And this is the PSR CoE team! I love being part of this team, and it’s not just because team meetings can be over cakes or pizza!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love to paint during my spare time. Seeing a blank canvas transform and be filled with colours amazes me.
