Kai is really enthusiastic about his BrightStart Apprenticeship experience as you may have seen in his social media video posted a few weeks back. Now, we have asked him to give you 3 reasons to join an apprenticeship scheme with us and talk you through his journey so far.

When did you join Deloitte and what is your role?

I am Kai Constantine and I am a BrightStart within Cyber Risk Services. I joined Deloitte’s BrightStart programme in 2016. My role varies depending on my project, I am currently assisting my colleagues with creating client deliverables.

From your POV, what are the top 3 reasons for joining the apprenticeship?

  1. Experience: I got the opportunity to get valuable experience in the world of work.
  2. Qualifications: I am able to obtain qualifications that are relevant to my job.
  3. The colleagues: I am also working with the best of the best and am able to learn from them.

In one paragraph, how would you describe your apprenticeship journey?

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time as a BrightStart. I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds and have enjoyed learning from them. The programme has allowed me to grow as a person, develop new skills and improve my ability to work in team and communicate effectively. It has also given me the opportunity to travel around the country.
